Cancellation and Refund Policy
This policy regulates the right of withdrawal, cancellations, refunds, late arrivals and no-show conditions for all services provided by Rban Tours®.
1. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
Pursuant to Article 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code), the right of withdrawal is excluded for leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific period.
Therefore, bookings for tours, experiences, workshops and events offered by Rban Tours® are not subject to the standard 14-day withdrawal right once the service is confirmed.
2. Cancellation by the Customer
Cancellations must be communicated in writing by email.
Unless otherwise stated on the tour description or booking confirmation, the following conditions apply:
- Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are non-refundable.
- No refunds are issued for no-shows or late arrivals.
3. Late Arrival and No-Show Policy
Punctuality is essential to ensure the quality of the experience and respect for other participants.
- Participants arriving more than 10–15 minutes late, depending on the specific tour, will be considered no-shows and will not be entitled to any refund.
- For certain tours, as clearly specified in the tour description, no delay is accepted and late participants will automatically lose the right to participate and to any refund.
In some cases, and solely at the discretion of Rban Tours®, participants who miss a tour may be offered the possibility to join a future date. This option is not guaranteed and is always subject to availability.
4. Refund Methods
Approved refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed, and within a reasonable timeframe.
Any transaction fees charged by third-party platforms are not refundable.
5. Cancellation or Changes by Rban Tours®
Rban Tours® reserves the right to cancel, reschedule or modify a service due to:
- Adverse weather conditions
- Safety reasons
- Technical or organizational issues
- Force majeure events
In such cases, participants will be offered the choice between rescheduling the experience or receiving a full refund.
6. Strikes, Demonstrations and Extraordinary Events
Rban Tours® is not responsible for service disruptions, itinerary changes, delays or cancellations caused by:
- Public transport strikes
- Demonstrations
- Public order measures
- Extraordinary or unforeseeable events beyond reasonable control
In such cases, refunds are not guaranteed and will be evaluated depending on the nature of the event and the possibility of performing the service.
7. Acceptance of This Policy
By completing a booking, the customer declares to have read, understood and accepted this Cancellation and Refund Policy.
